ANSWERS to FREQUENTLY ASKED CORPORATE PARTNER QUESTIONS ABOUT AAAA’S V.I.S.I.O.N. CONFERENCES.
Please find answers to some of the frequently asked questions relating to V.I.S.I.O.N. conferences:
1. What are the partner conference participation deadlines?
- Answer: All deadlines are listed on the 2023 V.I.S.I.O.N. One pager
2. Will there be an opportunity to have a pop-up lounge at the conference?
- Answer: We are not having any pop-up loungers during this conference
3. Will there be any dine-around Partners can host at the conference?
- Answer: Yes, all Ambassador, Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Partners will be able to host a dine-around on September 13, 6:30-8:30 pm. Partners will be in charge of planning their own dine-around. Partners will provide the AAAA team with the location and total maximum count to ensure we promote to our registrants. Any internal restaurant choices at the Gaylord Resort will need to be confirmed by the events planning team. Please contact chelsey.johnson@aaafainc.org.
4. What are the specifications of the exhibit booth during the career fair?
- Answer: All Ambassador, Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Partners are eligible to have an exhibit booth during the conference. Set up time will be on September 13th and the breakdown will be on September 15th. You will be provided an 8x10 space with a 6 x30 table with colored linen, 2 chairs, a trash can, and a power strip.
5. Will I receive the conference attendee list?
- Answer: All Ambassador, Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Partners will receive a pre-conference attendee list 2 weeks before the conference and a post-conference attendee list 2 weeks after the conference.
6. Who will be attending the roundtable sessions and what does that entail?
- Answer: The roundtable panel sessions are invite-only and will only have a select group of individuals in attendance. The intent of the roundtables is for each individual to be in a room and discuss feedback, network and share best practices. There will be an AAAA facilitator to encourage the conversations.
7. Who is the moderator and other panelists (if known) for the sessions?
- Answer: All moderators and panelists will be shared after August 15th.
8. When do the panelist pre-calls start?
- Answer: All moderator’s and panelists’ calls will be scheduled for August 22-25 and September 5-8th. An email will be sent out the week of August 14th to our speakers.
9. How many conference attendees do you expect?
- Answer: We expect to have at least 1,000 conference attendees and 200 students for the career fair.
10. Do recruiters need to register for the conference?
- Answer: Any recruiters will need to fill out the Recruiter form and a AAAA representative will register them after the submission deadline.
11. Are we able to submit commercials for the conference?
-Answer: Partner commercials will run during session breaks. Partners can submit their commercials HERE. You can submit (1) 30-second commercials or (2) 15-second commercials.

Q: If I sign up as a corporate partner in during the year, when does my partnership term begin and end?
A: Membership at AAAA runs on a calendar year basis. If you sign up as a corporate partner at any time during the year, your partnership term will begin on the date of signing and extend through December 31st of that year. AAAA accommodates late-joining partners. Our Corporate Sponsors can attempt to use their benefits until March the following year*.
Q: Will my partnership benefits be prorated if I sign up in the middle of the partnership term?
A: No, if you sign up as a corporate partner in during the calendar year, your partnership benefits will beat the end of the partnership term - December 31st of the partnership year. This allows you to enjoy the benefits of the partnership for the duration of your membership year. AAAA accommodates late-joining partners. Our Corporate Sponsors can attempt to use their benefits until March the following year*.
Q: Can I still access the benefits and opportunities available to corporate partners if I join in late in the year?
A: Absolutely! As a corporate partner, you will have access to all the benefits, opportunities, and resources available to corporate partners throughout the duration of your partnership term which ends on December 31st of the partnering year. This includes networking events, educational programs, sponsorship opportunities, and other initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion within the financial services industry.
Q: How soon can I begin taking advantage of the partnership benefits after signing up?
A: Once you have sent in the required forms and received communication that your corporate partnership is confirmed, you can begin taking advantage of the benefits and opportunities right away. Our team will provide you with the necessary information and access to start engaging with AAAA's network, resources, and events as soon as possible!
Q: Will my partnership be automatically renewed after the first year?
A: Yes, upon signing up as a corporate partner, your partnership will follow the regular renewal cycle (calendar year). At the end of your first year as a corporate partner, you will have the opportunity to renew your partnership for another year, continuing to benefit from the advantages and opportunities provided.
Q: Are there any specific benefits or considerations for corporate partners who sign up outside the standard partnership term?
A: While the partnership benefits remain consistent, signing up as a corporate partner outside the standard partnership term does not offer any advantages. Our team will work closely with you to ensure a seamless onboarding process and facilitate your integration into the AAAA community.
