ADVISORY LEVEL MEMBERSHIP

Criteria for Advisory Level Membership:

1. Holders of recognized certifications such as CFP®, ChFC, CLU, CIMA®, CFA, PFS, MFP®.

2. Individuals who have obtained FINRA Series 6, 7, 8 9 & 10, NFA Series 3 and the SEC Series 63, 65 or Series 66 qualifications.

3. Engaged in financial advisory and/or wealth management activities with a significant focus.

4. Maintain substantial contact with individual financial and/or wealth advisory clients.

Membership approval is subject to the recommendation of the Membership Committee and a vote by the Board of Directors. Currently, only Advisory Members are eligible for listing in the AAAA Consumer Financial Planning Directory.

About the Advisory Level Membership

Eligible candidates include those who hold or have obtained FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Series 6, 7, 9 & 10, National Commodities Futures (NFA) Series 3, Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) Series 63, 65 or Series 66 qualifications are also eligible for listing. These qualifications indicate a comprehensive understanding of investment products, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices.

Recognized advanced degrees such as an MBA, Ph.D. or Ed.D or advanced certifications CFP® (Certified Financial Planner), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) or MFP® (Master Financial Planner) will also enhance your application’s acceptance. These certifications serve as a testament to a member’s advanced knowledge and competency in the field of Financial Planning and Wealth Management.

To be eligible for listing in this directory, individuals must meet specific criteria and go through a thorough evaluation process. Each application is carefully reviewed by the Membership Committee, which assesses the candidate's qualifications, experience, and contributions to the field. The Membership Committee then presents its recommendations to the Board of Directors, who ultimately decide on the membership status.

It's important to note that only Advisory Members are currently eligible for listing in the AAAA Consumer Financial Planning Directory. This ensures that the directory includes professionals actively engaging in financial advisory and wealth management activities, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and expertise.
